07-09-2013 Workshop for civil services’ aspirants
A motivational workshop for students aspiring for the civil services in the Kennedy Auditorium by Residential Coaching Academy of AMU.
ALIGARH September 7: The Residential Coaching Academy, Aligarh Muslim University, organized a motivational workshop for students aspiring for the civil services in the Kennedy Auditorium. Addressing the students on this occasion,AMU Pro-Vice Chancellor, Brigadier (Retd.) Syed Ahmad Ali said that there was no substitute to hard work and he hoped that the workshop would provide ample motivation to our students to work hard and qualify the civil services in a large number. Dr. Shah Faesal, Civil Services Topper of 2010, urged the students to prepare for the civil services examination by planning to approach the different subjects intensively and exhaustively. Mr. Jane Alam, Joint Secretary, MHRD said that it is not very difficult to qualify the civil services examination as the number of serious students writing the examination was low. Mr. Ahteshamurrehman, IRS, said that it was better that the students from professional streams took the civil services examination, as they had a special approach towards studying what was useful for the civil services examination. Mr. Hammad Zafar emphasized that students from Madrasa backgrounds should also take on the coveted examination as they were industrious and had special ability to work hard. He said that Sir Syed in 1883 had formed the Mohammadan Civil Services Fund to assist students who wrote the civil services examination in England. He said that we needed to get inspiration from the great visionary. (Dr. Rahat Abrar) Public Relations Officer
